It’s time for Day of Action 2025! Douglass Park Elementary School welcomes volunteers to help improve their school environment!
Projects include:
· Clean flower beds in front of building, lay mulch
· Cleaning and weeding in front of building
· Cleaning courtyard area (moving debris out, weeding, etc)
UWSHR and school will supply:
· 5 rakes
· Weeding tools
· Mulch for front
· Flowers for Courtyard
· Greenery for front
· Yard bags and trash bags
Volunteers are asked to bring the following:
· work gloves
· gardening tools (if comfortable and on hand)
Notes to remember:
· Please make sure to wear close-toed shoes, and comfortable clothes appropriate for your project.
· Water and light snacks will be available on site.
· Projects may be subject to change on site due to the needs of the school.
