It’s time for Day of Action 2025! College Park Elementary School welcomes volunteers to help improve their school environment!
Projects include:
· Weeding, cleanup, and mulch around the flagpole area
· Weeding, cleanup, and mulch around the marquee area
· Fence cup art
· Organize Science Lab (directions provided on site)
· Organize stage (directions provided on site)
· Plant flowers in cisterns near basketball court
UWSHR and school will supply:
· Mulch
· Flowers
· Soil
· Yard bags
· 5 rakes
· Weeding tools
· Cups for Fence
Volunteers are asked to bring the following:
· work gloves
· weeding tools (if comfortable and on hand)
· rakes (if comfortable and on hand)
· weed wacker (if comfortable and on hand)
Notes to remember:
· Please make sure to wear close-toed shoes, and comfortable clothes appropriate for your project.
· Water and light snacks will be available on site.
· Projects may be subject to change on site due to the needs of the school.
