NAMI Coastal Virginia

NAMI Coastal Virginia is a 501c3 non-profit, one of almost 700 affiliates across the United States. NAMI Coastal Virginia serves the communities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, and the Eastern Shore. We are the voice for those affected by mental health conditions. We advocate at the local, state, and national levels to eradicate stigma, and are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health conditions.

NAMI Coastal Virginia provides free services to those living with mental health conditions, and their family/friends including support groups, classes, programs. We present and provide programs for schools, the military, psychiatric hospitals, law enforcement, local governmental agencies, places of worship and social groups
