What We Do
We are an award-winning nonprofit with 31 years of experience providing quality affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income families.
The total assessed value of our properties exceeds $46 million, making us the largest affordable housing property owner in Virginia Beach. Since the Virginia Beach CDC was established in 1985, we have housed over 6,654 individuals in safe, decent and affordable communities. We have also provided supportive services including case management and direct financial assistance to over 10,104 individuals who had experienced housing crises. Our ongoing efforts will bring housing stability to individuals and communities alike and serve as a crucial step in making communities whole.
