An Achievable Dream

Mission: An Achievable Dream develops independent, productive citizens through a Social, Academic, and Moral Education. Vision: Bring equity to education by providing opportunities for success in school and life. History: Founded in 1992 as a summer and after-school tennis and tutoring program, An Achievable Dream soon grew to a full K-12 program and now operates six schools in partnership with Newport News Public Schools, Virginia Beach City Public Schools, and Henrico County Schools, serving over 2,400 students.

An Achievable Dream (AAD) is a nationally recognized K–12 program dedicated to the belief that all children can learn and succeed regardless of their socioeconomic background. AAD partners with public school districts to co-operate schools in primarily under-served communities, providing additional resources to level the playing field for students.
