VBCDC is an award-winning non-profit with 31 years of experience providing quality, affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income households. Our vision is to create a Virginia Beach with quality homes for everyone and to be champions for a supportive community where people cannot only survive but are empowered to live their best lives. Since its inception, VBCDC has provided supportive services including case management and direct financial assistance to over 8,000 individuals and has provided safe, stable, affordable housing to 6,200 families who have experienced a housing crisis. Since 2013, the major programmatic focus has been directed at supportive services for low income homeless and/or disabled veterans.

The mission of Virginia Beach Community Development Corporation is to provide affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income households in the City of Virginia Beach.
